ALBERT EINSTEIN was convinced of the authenticity of dowsing. He said, “ I know very well that many scientists consider dowsing as they do astrology, as a type of ancient superstition. According to my conviction this is unjustified. The dowsing rod is a simple instrument which shows the uncanny reaction of the human nervous system to certain factors which are unknown to us at this time.
Over the last ten years much research has been done to clear the myth of dowsing. A report published by the Physicist Hans-Dieter Betz in the “Journal of Scientific Exploration” from Stanford University in 1995 illustrates results from a 10 year investigation into water dowsing. The investigation , undertaken in Sri Lanka, DRC, Kenya, Namibia, Yemen among others includes results and other countries from over 2000 drillings and is the most comprehensive study ever done in this field.. The investigation sponsored by a German Association of Technical Co-operation, was particularly aimed at finding innovative methods to find water in arid.regions and include geological and hydrological experts, experienced dowsers and a scientific group led by Dr. Betz THE RESULTS ILLUSTRATED A PHENOMINAL 98% SUCCESS RATE BY DOWSERS ACROSS 691 DRILLINGS. In addition to the success, it was found that certain dowsers could predict the depth of the find to a success rate of 10 to 20 percent. Geohydrologists given the same tasks took 2 months to evaluate a site where a dowser would complete his survey in minutes. The hydrologists had a 21% success rate, as a result the German Government sponsored 100 dowsers to work in arid zones of South India to find drinkable water.IN RUSSIA DOWSING IS TAUGHT AS A SCEINCE. Many of the top dowsers are doctors, engineers and scientists. Professor Alexander P.Dubrov, Prof. Of Biophysics, Doctor of Geophysics (author of Geomagnetic Fields of Life) is one of them. N.B. DOWSERS HAVE BEEN USED ACROSS THE USA TO LOCATE OIL WELLS. One of the most successful dowsers is Paul Clement Brown. From his contacts with leading oil and gas operators over a quarter of a century ago, Brown learned that many important oil fields were discovered , not by geological trained technicians , but by gifted dowsers.like himself. It is thus evident that through the ages dowsing has been chosen as an acceptable method by governments and academics alike for the unearthing of water and minerals and that it still survives today in light of the skeptics who dismiss it as a myth.
